Debian Mate install

Debian Sid/Wheezy: add one of the following repositories to your /etc/apt/sources.list:

# main repository
deb http://repo.mate-desktop.org/debian wheezy main
# mirror
deb http://packages.mate-desktop.org/repo/debian wheezy main
To install MATE:

apt-get update
apt-get install mate-archive-keyring
apt-get update
# this install the base packages
apt-get install mate-core
# this install more extras
apt-get install mate-desktop-environment

Openbox

Debian, minimalno – samo internet, auto login i auto start Iceweasel

aptitude, update, upgrade, instal sudo, zatim
su
visudo
dodati user ALL=(ALL) ALL, ctrl+o, ctrl+x

aptitude – openbox obconf xinit lxterminal iceweasel flashplugin-nonfree alsa-base xfce4-mixer mc gksu

Autologin:
sudo nano /etc/rc.local
dodati prije exit 0:
su – user -c startx

Ako pokazuje user not authorized to run the X server, aborting. izmjeniti
/etc/X11/Xwrapper.config
allowed_users=anybody

Autostart programa:
sudo nano /etc/xdg/openbox/autostart.sh
dodati na kraju ime programa i &, ovako:
iceweasel &

Lxpanel logout command (shutdown):
gksu halt
lxterminal -e sudo halt
shutdown -h now
openbox –exit
poweroff -i -f

LXDE

LXDE composing: sudo apt-get install xcompmgr
dodati @xcompmgr u /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE/autostart
